Novoxel®

TMA® is a technology, specially developed by Novoxel®, that’s forward in thinking and in its action. It uniquely combines motion and heat with the forward movement of a medical-grade titanium tip. This proprietary non-laser fractional technology transfers thermal energy to skin very quickly and safely: energy is emitted through a matrix of tiny pyramid-shaped pins made of biocompatible materials covering a treatment area of 1cm². The pins are heated to a temperature of 400°C and are self-sterilized.

Laser-Like Results with Less Downtime

The Tixel system is capable of giving results equal to those obtained through deep CO2 laser resurfacing but with a much shorter recovery time. It employs only heat (TMA) and not light, thus avoiding inflicting similar "collateral" injuries or causing similar redness in the adjacent skin, and making it possible to perform a dramatic skin lifting and softening procedure with a much smaller "healing period."

Unmatched Safety for the Delicate Eye Area

Tixel has the distinct advantage of being completely safe for the eyelids and the area around the eyelashes because of the lack of both emitted radiation and "stray" light. It is a very potent method of "non-surgical blepharoplasty," lifting hooded lids and rejuvenating the delicate skin around the eyes, which conventional lasers have often been unable to treat without risking side effects, thus making them very effective but infrequently used.

Enhanced "Open-Channel" Drug Delivery

The pyramid-shaped pins form ideal, tiny "funnels" in the skin that stay opened for a few hours. This enables "Mesotherapy-like" delivery, where through the skin liquid, like Vitamin C or Hyaluronic Acid, can penetrate deeply into the dermis which leads to a great increase in the treatment's overall rejuvenation and brightening effects.

Effective and Safe for All Skin Types

Since Tixel is not dependent on light absorption which targets melanin, the possibility of hyperpigmentation happening is less as compared to normal lasers. It is thus called a "universal" solution, offering safe and efficient skin firmer, wrinkle pruner, and acne scar reducer for the darker patients who might otherwise be at risk with the laser treatments.
